Post- Pesach Project

Hey Friend,

How have you been celebrating your Pesach hero title? for the past couple months you have literally put your life on hold. The superpowers involved with making the chag happen is no simple matter! Now that it is over, are you breathing a sigh of relief? Do you recognize the success you just accomplished?

After all the cleaning, scrubbing, organizing, and cooking, you must feel exhausted. That doesn’t include, prepping serving, and clearing all the meals and running Mommy Day Camp for the two-week school break. What about tour guide and trip organizer during chol hamoed? I get it. It has been a marathon!

Sometimes after being hyper focused for so long, you can feel lost, when that project has been accomplished. What should your next goal be? What should you be pouring all your energy into? Allow me to let you in on a little secret. It is okay to think about yourself now. If you are like most Jewish women, you are constantly multitasking and giving to everyone around you, except yourself that it. Why not anchor yourself to a new project? Post Pesach health and wellness goals is an excellent way to focus your attention.

Throughout Pesach, I definitely experienced feelings of bloat, constipation, exhaustion, and overall low energy. What else did I expect with consumption of large amounts of matzah, late nights, early wake up with the kids, and many many meals? If you can relate to me, you can understand why it’s the perfect time to jump on the health goal bandwagon.

-Think of something small you have been wanted to accomplish related to your overall health, wellness, and nutrition. Remember it has to be small. We cannot run a marathon or lose 50 pounds overnight.

-Write down that goal making it as detailed and specific as possible.

- Set aside three times this week where you will accomplish that goal.

-celebrate your accomplishment no matter how small it is!

- You can do this! You have already survived the Pesach season so anything is possible!

Hatzlacha!
